By Bus
There are buses leaving from the new Southern Bus Terminal and Mochit 2 Bus Terminal in Bangkok to Suratthani on a daily basis. There are day buses and overnight sleeper buses. The time of the trip depends on the efficiency of the bus and the number of stops. Overnight busses will take about 11 – 12 hours to make the trip. Day buses from 12 – 15 hours. Check at the bus station or with the bus companies before departure time and the current prices. There are various choices from non-air-conditioned buses up to VIP Buses which are more comfortable.
